Most of what Brookline does sits inside the residential renovation and addition categories. But a portion of our work — and a growing one — is general contracting in the broader sense: multi-family unit turnovers, tenant build-outs, investment-property remodels, property-management punch-list work, and insurance restoration.

These projects look different from a single-home renovation. They're scoped against a tighter budget, often on faster turn-around, and frequently for a client who manages a portfolio of properties rather than a single home. We adjust the process accordingly — clearer milestone reporting, tighter cost tracking, and trades that know how to work efficiently on rental and investment units.

Do you handle commercial projects?

We'll take on light-commercial or mixed-use work when the scope fits. Pure commercial (office build-out, retail) isn't our primary focus — residential is.

What about ongoing property management?

We handle turnover work, punch lists, and ongoing maintenance for property-management portfolios. Talk to us about a service-agreement structure if you're managing more than a handful of units.

Insurance restoration?

Yes — we work directly with adjusters and homeowners. Common scope: water damage, smoke + fire restoration, storm damage.
