Renovations & Remodeling

Full-scope updates to occupied homes — gut renovations, partial remodels, and everything in between. Clear schedules, protected work zones, daily clean-up.

Renovations are different from new construction in one important way: people are living in the house. A good renovation contractor protects your daily life as carefully as they protect the work — clean job sites, sealed work zones, HEPA filtration where needed, and a clear daily schedule so you always know what's happening.

We handle the full range of residential renovation work — from gutting a single bath down to the studs to bringing a 1920s colonial back to its original character with modern systems. The scope of the work changes; the level of care doesn't.

If you're weighing a renovation against moving or building new, we're happy to walk you through what's realistic — what your existing home can become, what the timeline and budget look like, and where the line is between a smart renovation and time to move.

Common questions

The honest answers.

Can we stay in the house during the renovation?

For partial renovations, usually yes — we work in sealed zones and coordinate around your routines. For gut renovations, usually no — we'll discuss living-arrangement options before work starts.

How do you handle dust and mess?

Sealed work zones with plastic + zip walls, daily broom + vacuum, HEPA filtration on demo work, runners on traffic paths. The site is left clean at the end of every day.

Will you preserve original features?

Yes, wherever it makes sense. Period-home updates — keeping the soul of a 1900s or mid-century home while modernizing the systems and finishes — are one of our favorite kinds of projects.
